Midyat Nurtaş Gümüş works this women's ring in its own workshop in Midyat, the town in south-eastern Turkey whose silversmiths have kept the trade for generations. It is bench work in silver: cut, formed, soldered and finished by hand rather than cast in a mould. Colour comes from ruby and emerald. Sizing, weight and stock come from the workshop itself, through its own website.
