Red enamel fills the ground behind a star and crescent on this sterling silver ring, giving the emblem the contrast it deserves. Ottoman Kuyumculuk of İstanbul lays the mine, or vitreous enamel, by hand and polishes back to a level surface. Other colours can be produced on request; the workshop takes those enquiries through Nadirum.
