A Midyat-made pair of silver earrings from Sümer Telkari, an atelier rooted in the silver craft of Mardin in south-eastern Turkey. The forming, soldering and polishing are all done by hand in the workshop. Coral is the stone used, seated in the silver frame. The rhodium finish resists tarnish. The workshop publishes the rest of the detail on its own page. Coral appears in this piece under the workshop's own trade name; Nadirum does not verify whether it is precious, bamboo or imitation coral, so please ask the jeweler before you order.
