Şahmeran is the mythical queen of snakes in Mardin folklore, half woman and half serpent, often shown as a guardian of wisdom. Bracelet 32 depicts her in mesh-woven silver, a flat hasır (straw-mat) weave, and connects to a ring worn on the finger, a style sometimes called a hand bracelet.
