This ring is bench-made by Sümer Telkari in Midyat, the silversmithing town of Mardin province in south-eastern Turkey. The forming, soldering and polishing are all done by hand in the workshop. Quartz supplies the colour against the metal. Rhodium plating protects the surface and holds its whiteness. The atelier answers questions about this piece on its own site.
