Woven rather than cast, Gold Plated Oxidized Earrings follows kazaziye practice, in which kazaz teli, the hair-fine silver wire, is plaited entirely by hand. Oxidised passages darken the recesses so the braid reads clearly. A gold-toned plating warms the woven surface. Worn often, the surface settles into a quieter, warmer tone.
