Drop Silver Women's Mesh Necklace

Here is a women's necklace from Midyat in south-eastern Turkey, cut and soldered at the Nurtaş Gümüş bench. The design takes a drop silhouette. The surface is a hand-plaited hasır weave, el örmesi, built strand by strand until the silver behaves almost like cloth. Sizing, weight and stock are kept current on the atelier's site rather than here.
