Round Silver Mardin Mesh Women's Necklace

Here is a women's necklace from Midyat in south-eastern Turkey, cut and soldered at the Nurtaş Gümüş bench. It carries a round face. It is el örmesi, hand weaving: silver wire plaited into the close Mardin hasır mesh that lies flat and moves with the wearer. The workshop's own site carries stock, sizing and shipping and handles every order itself.
