Made in the workshop's Midyat atelier, this pair of silver earrings carries the silver tradition of Mardin, the old stone city of south-eastern Turkey. Its telkâri work, filigree built from drawn silver wire soldered into open patterns, is done entirely at the bench. Colour comes from the sapphire named in the title.
