This pair of cufflinks comes off the bench at Taşhan in Erzurum. It is worked in oltu taşı — the black jet mined at Oltu, outside Erzurum — a soft stone that hardens under polishing. Lettering is something the workshop itself arranges, not Nadirum. Condition, size and delivery are the atelier's remit, and the bench handles requests in person.
