DETAILS

The zihgir was worn on the thumb by Ottoman archers to draw a bowstring, and its swept, asymmetric shape came to signify rank long after the bows were put down. This silver version keeps that profile. Made in İstanbul by Vezir Kuyumculuk. Size and inscription requests are handled by the workshop through Nadirum.
