Here is a women's necklace from Midyat in south-eastern Turkey, cut and soldered at the Nurtaş Gümüş bench. The work is telkâri filigree: silver drawn into fine wire, bent into scrolls and soldered so the pattern reads as much through its gaps as its metal.
