Vav Filigree Handcrafted Silver Women's Necklace

This women's necklace is bench-made in Midyat, the south-eastern Turkish silver town, by Midyat Nurtaş Gümüş. It is telkâri — filigree in which fine silver wire is coiled and soldered into openwork. The design takes the Arabic letter vav, a calligraphic symbol of devotion. Measurements, finish and availability are published by the atelier on its own website, and buyers deal with the workshop there.
