Made in the workshop's Midyat atelier, this coordinated jewellery set carries the silver tradition of Mardin, the old stone city of south-eastern Turkey. The work is telkâri, the filigree craft in which hair-fine silver wire is twisted, coiled and soldered into open lacework. Floral shapes organise the surface, a staple of the local repertoire.
