This bracelet leaves the bench in Midyat, a town in Mardin province long identified with worked silver. Its telkâri work, filigree built from drawn silver wire soldered into open patterns, is done entirely at the bench. The şahmeran motif appears here, a half-woman half-serpent figure from Mardin folklore held to bring protection. Sizing and further photographs sit on the jeweller's website.
