Made in the workshop's Midyat atelier, this pendant necklace carries the silver tradition of Mardin, the old stone city of south-eastern Turkey. Telkâri, meaning filigree, gives the piece its openwork: fine silver threads curled and joined one by one. Floral shapes organise the surface, a staple of the local repertoire.
