A Midyat-made pendant necklace from Sümer Telkari, an atelier rooted in the silver craft of Mardin in south-eastern Turkey. The work is telkâri, the filigree craft in which hair-fine silver wire is twisted, coiled and soldered into open lacework. A lotus form, an old Anatolian decorative motif, organises the design. The workshop's own site carries the remaining specifications.
