This pendant necklace is bench-made by Sümer Telkari in Midyat, the silversmithing town of Mardin province in south-eastern Turkey. Every stage from forming to final polish is handled at the bench. Small irregularities are the mark of hand work, not of fault. The workshop's own site carries the remaining specifications.
