From Midyat in Mardin province, where silversmithing has long been a local livelihood, comes this hand-finished pendant necklace. The piece is raised, soldered and burnished by the silversmith himself. The vav is the Arabic letter long used as an ornamental motif in Ottoman calligraphy.
