From Midyat in Mardin province, where silversmithing has long been a local livelihood, comes this hand-finished necklace. The piece is raised, soldered and burnished by the silversmith himself. The vav is the Arabic letter long used as an ornamental motif in Ottoman calligraphy. Colour comes from the zircon named in the title.
