A Midyat-made silver necklace from Sümer Telkari, an atelier rooted in the silver craft of Mardin in south-eastern Turkey. Its telkâri work, filigree built from drawn silver wire soldered into open patterns, is done entirely at the bench. Natural stones are set into the piece, as the workshop's title notes.
