This pendant necklace is bench-made by Sümer Telkari in Midyat, the silversmithing town of Mardin province in south-eastern Turkey. Faceted dorica silver beads carry the design, each cut face picking up the light. An evil-eye bead is set into the design, the familiar Anatolian charm against ill wishes.
