From Midyat in Mardin province, where silversmithing has long been a local livelihood, comes this hand-finished necklace. Every stage from forming to final polish is handled at the bench. Its vav motif takes the Arabic letter, a favourite shape in Ottoman calligraphic ornament. The setting holds zircon, as the workshop's own title states.
